A fine art exhibition exploring the illusion of perception, parallel universes, and the surreal nature of reality viewed through the awe-inspired lens of theoretical physics. This diverse group of artists create their view of these realities through a wide range of styles and materials.

The abstract paintings of Paul Campbell beckon the viewer into a microcosm of splattered and entangled energies. Whereas the paintings of Paul Holloway have an architectural structure of

chaos and color. “The One Above” by Dionisios Kavvadias shows us an unfamiliar universe

where we are subject to the transcendence into a higher level of being. David Chen’s work utilizes recognizable objects which seem to be leaving this reality to an uncharted realm, with the exception of “Red Bitter Phenomenon" where reality is lost in utter abstraction. The delicate and whiteness of the rice has been transformed by Zhen Guo taking us into a much darker place. Plummeting us further into the void. “Lost”, the bronze sculpture by Emil Silberman throws us off the cliff into the abyss as in the tarot card The Fool. Truly that leap of faith without fear, Jill Slaymaker paints a complex and vivid composition of surrealism which takes on that otherworldly quality. “Portal” by Zoran Crnkovic has a central sphere which undulates the lightness and darkness of the rift, the entrance into the uncertain. The cut steel portraits of Walter Kenul are the souls who are either floating between worlds or as in “Manfred” perhaps guarding the portal from the unenlightened masses. “Chess Game” by Adrian DiMetriou has morphed the chess board into a bizarre citadel where there are no rules to follow simply follow the path or perhaps the yellow brick road.

“I have always had a passion for science fiction novels, astrophysics and the metaphysical. When I was invited to curate this show I took that leap of faith, saying yes, which began my own journey inwards. I hope you will enjoy the show and interpret the work with your own eyes and inner self.”
